Check whether you have it already or not (with a different version, probably) using rpm -q libstdc++ and rpm -q libstdc++-devel If you don't have it, install it from the CD or from rpmfind.net. If you do, try setting up a symlink to fool the linker and see if it works. Cross-distribution RPMS ?
