Okay, you want to use KDE1 AND KDE2 apps at once. Look

One of your problems is that Redhat ships an old version kdelibs for kde2 and I
dont believe that it is binary compatible with the current one. Unfortunately
REDHAT and CHRIS (the rpm packager) installs it in the same directory.

The only solution I could think of currently is compiling KDE2 yourself and
installing it into another directory.
