Talking about Corba functionality, python already had Corba support (or Corba
had python support ;-) ) in KDE. Why was it dropped ?

I won't argue about security, but what are the features in KScript Python
doesn't have? Python at least has well done and maintained Qt/KDE bindings.

Size? Of course Qt/KDE bindings are a little bit too big (size of the
version 0.8 library is ~4MB here and python interpreter with kde lib loaded
uses >7% of mine 64MB of RAM}, but now they are splited to smaller parts AFAIK.
