Hello guys,

When trying to compile yesterdays (19 sept) KDE CVS tree, I run into the
following problem: both kdebase and koffice can't compile because:

/bin/sh ../libtool --silent --mode=link g++  -O2 -L/opt/kde/lib
-L/usr/local/qt/lib  -L/usr/X11R6/lib -L/usr/local/lib -rpath /opt/kde/lib
-rpath /usr/local/qt/lib -rpath /usr/X11R6/lib -o ole_filter  main.o
olefilter.o ./lib/libfilterbase.la ./lib/libklaola.la ./lib/libqtext.la
./winword97/libwinword97.la ./excel97/libexcel97.la
../lib/kofficecore/libkofficecore.la
/opt/kde/lib/libkfile.so: undefined reference to
`KFileInfoContents::select(int)'

However, I recompiled kdelibs first (and make install'ed, even ran
ldconfig), and the method *does* exist (it's in
kdelibs/kfile/kfileinfocontents.cpp). I can also find it in
/opt/kde/include/kfileinfocontents.h, so the make install actually
worked...

So obviously, something goes wrong with the shared libs.

Anyone have an idea about what I'm doing wrong?

Greets,

Wilke Havinga
