Hello!

First, a big thank you to everyone who is working on KDE20 in general
and KOffice in perticular. I believe KOffice to be one of the single most
important free software development projects today, and you guys rock. (And
people who just write to the list to whine about KOffice being alpha do not,
IMHO, but that is another story altogether.)
In any case, I witnessed your recent attempts to obtain a new
Webmaster. I would personnally like to try taking part of this on. I have an
essay to hand in tomorrow, but I have already copied the actual web pages to my
hd so I have something to work with. I will try to ship you guys a tar.gz of a
directory structure asap, hopefully tomorrow, but maybe it will take a few
days. I will basically try to make a "proof of concept": a new layout which is
simple, elegant, has no frames, is kfm-friendly, and has, to the best of my
knowledge, updated info.
If you guys like it, I can try to set time aside regularly to maintain
it. If you do not, no prob. Cheers! (If someone who had volunteered is reading
this, simply submit something that the developpers like and you will get no
competition from me.)
Cheers, guys! And thanks a lot for the software!

Jérôme Loisel

PS: I have got KOffice to compile and hope to be able to write critiques in the
future: ie comments, suggestions, anything within the scope of my capabilities
and possibly useful.
