I think that you having similar problems to what I have had. Are you
building this on a system that already has kde 1.x on it? If so, you need
to make sure that the two library sets don't conflict. The easiest way
would be to create a second account (like kdetest). Take qt out of the
main  ld.so.conf area, and put it in for each user. Then, for kdetest,
instead put in the qt 2 path. Don't forget to use the prefix option for
kde compiles, or it will overwrite your current installation.
