I haven't looked at MSWordView at all but I am slightly shocked about
the size (~1MB source). Will every filter be that big ? I hope it won't.

It has to (to extract the data from the file) but they're all based on
the information the LAOLA guy found out.

The Excel specs are avaible for free and without any registration on the
Microsoft site. The OLE storage structure isn't documented _at_all_.
That's the difficult part about it. I'm not sure about the legal
perspective (reverse engineering!).
