Hi,

Has anyone here managed to get KOffice working on RedHat 6.0 
where KDE (particularly kdelibs) was installed with the rpm's that 
came with RedHat 6.0.

I have bene told many things.  QT needs to be compiled without fno-
rtti ok I have the latest version, they removed that.  Need KDE libs 
1.1.1, yep thats what I got (.i386.rpm format).  I keep getting this 
same error everyone keeps going on about, cant link a small kde 
app make sure you compiled everything with the same compiler bla 
bla bla.  Was told to download KDElibs and compile it, I get an 
error in that too.  I have even deleted config.cache.  KDE itself 
works fine.  I just cant get past ./configure to configure KOffice.

Somebody must have installed KOffice on RedHat 6.0 and KDE 
from the rpms and know what needs to be done.  Then again there 
do seem to be a lot of people with this same problem.
