I've just updated Qt / kde / koffice. The problem is still there.

The problem is that gcc can't understand that !=(QChar,char) should be used
when comparing a QChar and an int.

I have 
koffice/kword> gcc --version
egcs-2.91.60   

Could it be the problem ?
