I would just like to give some info on a problem that MAY be bugging
people.  It did me for a bit, until I figured out the problem (it wasn't
anything too obvious, so it might help people).  KOffice apparently
wants to bind to port 12345 when it compiles.  However, I was running
the program fakebo, which also binds to 12345, and consequently, I got a
screenful of the message
cannot decode header
This perplexed me for a bit, until I poked around and noticed the 12345
binding.  Checking my fakebo logs, there were a number of localhost
connections, so I disabled fakebo and got past the error.  Just
something other people may be interested in, so if someone writes with
that question, you can ask if they have fakebo running.. :)
Just thought that might be useful.
