The magic setting that I have to do is that I have to make sure my keyboard
layout is set to hebrew. After making sure the israeli flag is visible I can
type and RTL happens as expected.
This has gotten much better in KWord2[1], but it is not meant for anythign
other then for testing and playing as its still in development.
For OpenOffice there is indeed a special setting you have to set, but I still
found it hard to use after that.
