I indeed found after reading this bugreport that it only works when you use 
the item from the apps help menu.
If you don't (and use your normal browser) you hit the first screen that asks 
you for your KDE version. And you can't even tell it you are not reporting a 
KDE bug. So you get kicked out before you even start :(
I think that its unreasonable to expect all apps that bugs.kde.org hosts to 
only run on the latest version of KDE or else you can't report bugs.

I talked to coolo about this and he told me to create a patch.
I got as far as altering the bugs/template/wizard/report.html.tmpl
where I added a "KOffice 1.6" item in the combobox.

Not sure what effect that will have, though, I guess some php magick is also 
needed ;)
