I played with Krita a bit, overpainted parts of an image by constraining using selections and the paint brush, removed the selections again, blurred and gaussian blurred the image and reverted again. When reverting, for some reason a whole inverted(!) image selection (which I did not use before) showed up. Using the blur filters again nothing happened - until Krita said goodbye, as you can see below.

Unfortunately I can't tell the exact steps I did. I hope my description and the backtrace suffices.
