It would help if you could clarify this request.  

Let us put aside the details of how the user interface could be implemented and leave \
that to the developers to decide.   If I understand this correctly you are writing \
documents in more than one language.  You want to be able to quickly set the language \
for spellchecking on each paragraph.  

I've seen simliar requests from users who want to entirely switch keyboard layouts \
which is needed when switching between English and Cyrillic languages for example.  

It might be better to file this request against KWord specifically rather than \
against Koffice as a whole but perhaps you could explain in more detail. \
