I'd volunteer to translate the article to German (if needed). I maybe could 
also write it, but not within 2 weeks. So is there a deadline?

Other questions are:

- Which license will the article have? CC or what?
- Will the magazine pay us for writing the article, or do they want the open 
source community to do their work?

Just what came to my mind... :)
