Update:

I found some reports about the issue on bugs.kde.org and it seems that it is 
not a Koffice problem. It affects print preview from e.g. Konqueror as well. 
I tested and this is true. So it seems to be a general KDE problem connected 
to SUSE rpm's. So I guess it does not belong on this list :). I had never 
used print preview in other KDE apps than Koffice.
