As of Koffice 1.5, Krita and Karbon allows users to change
the pallete font-size through their setting.

In Krita, the change takes effect immediately after pressing
'ok' buttons in the setting dialog.

In Karbon, I need to quit and restart Karbon for the change
to take effect.

Unfortunately, Kivio does not provide such option.
