Without trying to manually fix this, I would suggest to install a recent version of FreeBSD, like the new 6.0 release. The 5.2 version is also "officially" considered unstable (5.3 and 5.4 are production releases). Question: Are you using an up-to-date ports tree? If not it might also be an option to download the latest ports tree from http://www.freebsd.org/ports/index.html (look for "Current Status") or use CVSUP (if you don't know cvsup, forget about it). But still, as 5.2 is considered unstable anyway (to some extend it probably is) I would recommend upgrading if you can't get things to work. The 6.0 release also contains lots of precompiled KDE packages (on disc 2). I don't know though whether KOffice is also available on it. Still, if you have most of KDE already there, installing KOffice from ports should work just fine. Hope that helps, good luck, Raphael > > Stop in /usr/ports/databases/postgresql-libpqxx. > *** Error code 1 > > Stop in /usr/ports/editors/koffice-kde3. > [2:4:303]root@angel:/usr/ports/editors/koffice-kde3> > > So ... what do I do from here to finish the job? > > Blessings, > > Father Gordon Gilbert > > > +=====================================================+ > > | Angels' Roost Farm | > | Rev.
