Jasc Webdraw included similar functionality and provided an image in a tooltip to preview any item (groups, objects, etc) in the document treeview. The Konqueror file managers also included a preview image in tooltip functionality. Having seen this in Jasc Webdraw I was hoping this feature might be added to Karbon but it could also work for Krita and Kivio both of which have a layer palette (and possibly even in the Kpresenter document outline). A preview in a tooltip could be used as well as or insted of a Photoshop style thumbnail preview directly in the layers dialog and with a tooltip preview you have the advantage being able to provide a bigger preview than you would if it were embedded directly in the Layers pallete. I hope this is something which could be considered if the Layers dialog is being redesigned. ____________________________________ koffice mailing list koffice@kde.org To unsubscribe please visit: https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/koffice
