Jonathan Riddell reported that the 1.4.2 langauge tarballs are broken. I'm not 
sure what I did wrong -- I merely followed the checklist and ran the scripts. 
In any case, I do not have the opportunity to recreate the tarballs, so I 
merely copied the 1.4.1 tarbals, in the hope that that would work.
