After checking out kde-i18n and installing the nl dir I indeed get days with \
capitals, like Natalie submitted. I'm running the 3.4 branch of koffice/kde-i18n
The simple fact of installing i18n gives me a word list so suddenly I can reproduce \
the problem, before that I could not.

Is my koffice too old? Maybe the kdelibs translations of the days are used? (which in \
dutch _are_ lowercase) ____________________________________
