Summary: Barcode support - KOfficePart based?
           Product: koffice
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: koffice kde org
        ReportedBy: bradh frogmouth net

Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

bug:68618 asked for KBarcode integration, and was closed as invalid.

It still seems reasonable to provide a KOfficePart that can insert barcodes. Note \
that there are some cases where the barcodes that KBarcode can do aren't sufficient - \
eg Australia Post has a wierd system that identifies every postal destination - see \
http://www.auspost.com.au/BCP/0,1080,CH2064%257EMO19,00.html Integration with that \
(including mail-merge) would be a very cool feature. \
