Hi Marc, Ariya,

Thanks for your interest in this. At work I have a French QWERTZ
keyboard that requires a SHIFT+0 to make an "equals" (as described in
bug # 27522). When you're doing lots of reconciliations (as one does in
the back office of a bank) then it's handy to have "adding
machine-style" functionality on a spreadsheet. FWIW, I notice OpenOffice
Calc also requires an "equals" sign.
