Oddly, I thought I was using the "X" button.  But, I tried it again just to 
make sure.

OK.  This is really weird.  I opened Kword in order to do some more 
experimenting.  When I went to open it, it had reverted back to the small 
size.  So, I closed Kword and checked the rc file and the [MainWindow] 
section was missing again.  Next, I resized Kword and closed it with the X 
button.  I checked the reopened it and it retained the new size.  I checked 
the rc file again and [MainWindow] was present again.  I could see the 
pattern repeating.  I confirmed it by performing these steps:

	o  opened Kword
	o  resized it
	o  closed it with the X button
	o  reopened Kword (the size is saved OK here)
	o  close Kword
	o  reopen Kword (the size reverts back)

Strange.

I haven't tried using any other method to close Kword.  I will though.

I should probably start a new thread for this.  But, I have another problem 
that is similarly on the same topic.  I am having a problem with the print 
preview window remembering its size.  Every time I open the print preview, I 
have to resize it.  I don't think it is a bug.  It is annoying though.
