Basically, exporting to PDF means something like (for example):

KPrinter prt(false);
if (prt.autoConfigure(i18n("Print to File (PDF)"), parentW))
{
   // do printing
}

Put this into a slot, and attach it to a "Export to PDF..." menu
entry, and you're done.
