If I attempt to start any koffice applications, nothing happens.  If I try and start \
them from the command prompt, I see:

kio (KSycoca): Trying to open ksycoca from /var/tmp/kdecache-aaronw/ksycoca
kio (KTrader): KServiceTypeProfile::offers( KOfficePart, )
kio (KTrader): Returning 10 offers

and then it just returns.  I get the same thing for both kword and kspread.
