So it sounds like a Koffice 2.0 is much further away than I thought. Which is god timing for someone who wishes to write a book, they can start on 1.3 and follow the changes/additions and just make the book match. I was worried about using koffice a while back sine I had heard about the format changing with 2.0 until I found the command line import/convert tool so I felt safe that I could simply convert everything over at one point with that tool. I assume the templates will follow the OO standard as well, one thing I can't do easily in Kword at the moment is use a templae for an Avery label. I have to run open office for that. Any chance there will be command like file viewers/editors (I'm drifting way off the topic of the thread here so if someone wants to know why I'll start a new thread and explain).
