There is supposed to be one already, I'm not sure why it didn't appear for you.
Anyway. I'm working on a solution that makes KOffice finds its components
independently from the K menu structure. It will install .desktop files
in <kdeprefix>/share/services, where RedHat (and other distros), as well as
users editing their menus or changing their preferences, won't be able to
mess them up :)
