Sorry, it took a bit longer, I accidently did a make clean on the 
source tree and my maschine is a bit slow.

That's the output of the debug code

Type : 0, x : 0, y : 0
Type : 3, x : 0, y : 15
Type : 3, x : 199, y : 15
Type : 3, x : 199, y : 0
Type : 3, x : 0, y : 0
Type : 4, x : 0, y : 0

When I remove the .kgr files karbon starts the 'Open Document' 
dialog. When I select 
- Create Document
Karbon crashes after Ok

- Open Document (e.g. .ps or .wmf)
Karbon tries to open the doc and crashes.

As a side note: Whith kdDebug() there was no output, I had to use 
cout. Don't know if that's of any importance.
