It's absolutely mandatory that cut/paste actions retain the inherent meaning of the formula, that is the reference to the content of the cell. So if the content is moved the coordinates of the cell have to be adapted. Otherwise it would not be possible to rearrange cells without destroying the results. But I agree that there are rare occasions where the current behavior of kspread would be useful.
