Subject:    KOffice-1.2 does not compile with KDE 3.0.5

I know this has been discussed on koffice-devel, but it is apparent that 
the current stable release of KOffice, version 1.2, does not compile 
using the recently released KDE 3.0.5, due to a series of macro 
conditionals based on KDE_VERSION.

The workaround is to go into /opt/kde/include/kdeversion.h (or wherever 
you have KDE installed), and temporarily change the line:
#define KDE_VERSION 305
to read:
#define KDE_VERSION 304

Then compile and install KOffice.  Of course, remember to change it back 
once KOffice is installed.

Can someone please post a notice about this deficiency on the KOffice 
home page.  This is definitely a showstopper for anyone building from 
source.
