sorry took us some time to answer.

I have looked at your attached files and the only difference I can find is the 
uppercase in the formula at the bottom. Normally it shouldn't matter which 
case you use for the cell reference and it doesn't make a difference with 
current version of KSpread in cvs and branch.

OTOH, which version on which platform are you using?

If it is KSpread 1.2, can you send me the file directly, as from the pdf 
files, I can only say it works here correctly.
