But it means the application exits very soon. What's strange is that you don't get any other message from it. I thought the only case for this to happen was old koffice-1.1 libs installed. If you did remove them all, then the problem might be the prefix.... You have KDE3 in /usr, and you used no arguments to "configure" for koffice? Mount the iso locally, extract everything from it onto a (big) hard disk partition, then use the "from hard disk" installation => no need to write a CD. - -- David FAURE, david@mandrakesoft.com, faure@kde.org http://people.mandrakesoft.com/~david/ Contributing to: http://www.konqueror.org/, http://www.koffice.org/ Get the latest KOffice - http://download.kde.org/stable/koffice-1.2/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE9mNVm72KcVAmwbhARAk08AJ43YLFP90mdvHd+9qyQDInTyioVgQCgm39x YJxglLBLwTL2BUxsYNs0Y4U= =FCP2 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ____________________________________ koffice mailing list koffice@mail.kde.org To unsubscribe please visit: http://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/koffice
