Hello Gang :-)

(qt-copy 3.1beta and kdelibs of about a week ago).

Just trying out the latest KOffice running from CVS of a couple of days ago
(so I'm sure David will have fixed these problems by now if they're his! :-)

When I scroll right down to the bottom of a KWord document, using the mouse,
and then right back to the top again, the top and bottom of the document
aren't repainted properly, i.e. they're screwy, showing other parts of the
document. Scrolling using, for instance, Page Up/Down doesn't cause problems.
Also, scrolling only a part of the document with the mouse, i.e. not to
either end, is fine.

The first document I opened was the fax template. As well as the repainting
problems, I noticed that the word 'Recycle' in the document was in two
different font sizes; the 'Rec' being in Helvetica 12pt and the 'ycle' being
Helvetica 11pt. I don't really understand the DTD I found looking at the
template, but this seemed to be "unintentional" to me :-)

Related to the last point, when I placed the cursor in the middle of the word
'Recycle', I expected the box telling me which font point size I was looking
at to be '11' when the cursor was directly to the left of the letter 'y',
i.e. the first 11pt character. Instead, the box stayed at 12, only changing
to 11 after I'd moved the cursor past the 'y'. I haven't used a word
processor in anger for a good few years, so I don't know if this is the
correct behaviour or not, but it doesn't "feel" right to my mind.

Lastly, would it be better if I sent this type of email to koffice-devel
rather than koffice. I don't think filing a bug report is appropriate when
running from CVS which is constantly changing (and besides, bugzilla scares
me :-)

Oh, and really lastly, I've compiled everything with --enable-debug=full in
order to try and help if I come across any problems. There was also an
--enable-debug=yes option. 'full' seemed like the more appropriate choice,
but can someone tell me what the difference is and what most developers would
use please.

Cheers,
Sean
