Yes so did a few other people, but trust me, that filter had many many problems, and was lacking a lot of stuff that the new filter does already (most character and paragraph properties). However it did some things (like tables, pictures and emmbedded objects) that the new filter doesn't do _yet_. We'll come around doing that, this is only an early announcement. If you're concerned about cyrillic characters, I suspect this works just fine (since we tested other non-latin1 stuff like hebrew), but feel free to send one or two test documents to werner ;) > On the other hand, does wv2 support *export* of Word documents? And it changes everyday. It's not ready for being RPMized yet, imho. - -- David FAURE, david@mandrakesoft.com, faure@kde.org http://people.mandrakesoft.com/~david/ Contributing to: http://www.konqueror.org/, http://www.koffice.org/ Get the latest KOffice - http://download.kde.org/stable/koffice-1.2/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE9fvkF72KcVAmwbhARAu8UAJ9isx+M7x8FVCR4E5pz/OHFQ5Y6YgCeJTcw JE43BNc0dCRroeO6t9KIf6I= =QeB9 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ____________________________________ koffice mailing list koffice@mail.kde.org To unsubscribe please visit: http://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/koffice
