For me printing to PDF seems to work...
If you are on Debian, the upgrading to SID had desinstalled the cupsomatic-ppd 
package and broke my printing configuration and ps generation. Reinstall the 
package and reconfigure your printer and everything should be ok.
If you are desperate, you can cut and paste in LyX and generate the PDF there, 
it is very easy and works very well.
