Hi guys .... love koffice ... but ...................

Speaking as an end-user and IT roll-out
person, you are at a bit of a cusp.....

IF you want to get serious about putting
KDE "out there" as a serious office package,
then you are going to have to be able
to import-export Microsoft Office format
files.

I recently showed the Koffice suite
to a new linux user ....

While he was impressed with Koffice, he
ended up installing Open/Star office,
because he could import/export Msoffice
format files.

Similarly, when when trying to
show the benefits of Koffice to
people in a "big shop", they soon
lose interest, when they realize
that they cannot import/export
their existing MSOffice documents.

I know it is tedious.... but
please, PLEASE can you get the
MSOFFICE I/O happening REAL
SOON NOW !!!!!!!!!

Regards
Peter de Groot
