Hello Thomas.

Thank you very much for your reply and the information why Koffice does not 
run with KDE3 beta2.

I did not realise that it was a bug in KDE,  I wondered if it was connected 
with KOffice and QT3. 

Thank you also for the work-round, which I will try tomorrow.
