Package: koffice
Version: KDE 2.2.2
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

Koffice is a nice and promosing office package, completely under the GPL. I´ve \
noticed that the development is goiing very rapidly, and programs are comming close \
to proffesional quality.

However, I miss a relational database in it (like MS Access), and I think they are \
very usefull for people and organisations.

On the internet I´ve seen the Rekall-database, a project from the Kompany, licenced \
onder the GPL.

This database has many options and seems easy to use and I´ve tried to install it, \
but I´ve failed. (I,m also no hacker, so if a RPM doesn´t work I give up soon.)

Perhaps this is a good program to add to Koffice. By doing this the office-pack is \
complete in my opinion.

Please let me know if there are things lik this planned for the future.

For more information about rekall, use this link: \
http://www.thekompany.com/projects/rekall/

I hope to hear from you soon,

Maarten Rommerts
