| As I am new to Linux (Using Red hat 7.2), I have a problem with Kword.

| Can I save a document made with Kword so, that a Windows machine with
| MS-word can read it?
| Which extension do I give my document? (Eg: Mydocument.doc, Mydocument,

".html"
I usually export docs from KWord as XHTML+CSS, this gives you most elegant
look'n'feel :-)
So far, MS Word 2000 has no problem opening HTML files exported from KWord
(in this way)
Hope this helps.

| When I write it to floppy (formatted with Kfloppy for DOS) MS-word can't

| (My school uses MS-word)
| So, I save it as a HTML document, open it with MS-internet explorer and

| My father uses Staroffice, but he can't open it either.
| Kword opens Microsoft doc. without a problem, but the other way around?!?

| Thanks for your help!
