Qt, KDE and KOffice is from CVS and about 2 days old.

Andale Mono works, Arial does not, both are truetype.
Bitstream Charter works, Utopia does not, both are type1.

Yes. Independent of antialiasing setting.

I just started KWord of KDE 2.2.2. That works ok with these fonts.
