I did configure it exactly as you said.

I even restarted xfs manuelly by typing, as root, /etc/rc.d/init.d/xfs stop, 
then /etc/rc.d/init.d/xfs start. I also checked the config file 
(/etc/X11/fs/config). I really don't understand.
