I've got the following in my XF86Config file: FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/local/" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/:unscaled" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/:unscaled" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/" FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/" FontPath "/fatc/windows/fonts/" # FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/" # FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/" If I uncomment the bottom two lines, the problem disappears. Of course, I get hideous fonts on screen. Nothing's ever easy :( On Wednesday 07 Nov 2001 9:42 pm, Thomas Zander wrote: > You are not the only one, I have seen a number of problems related to these > fonts, altough you are the only one mentioning RH... > > Could you tell me; > - which XFree you are using?
