Hi
I did the prcedures you told me, let's for the outputs:
rod@minduin:~ > ./check_koffice_install.sh
Found: /opt/kde2/share/applnk/Office/kword.desktop... ok, this is a
KOfficePart
Native mimetype : X-KDE-NativeMimeType=application/x-kword
Service Types dir /home/rod/.kde2/share/servicetypes/
Service Types dir /opt/kde2/share/servicetypes/
Found /opt/kde2/share/servicetypes/kofficepart.desktop
[PropertyDef::X-KDE-NativeMimeType]
Everything looks ok
According to your script everything is well installed
rod@minduin:~ > kbuildsycoca
Error can't open database!
THat's an error, may be it is the problem?
I found two kword.desktop files:
find / -name kword.desktop
/etc/X11/susewm/AddEntrys/SuSE/Utilities/unspec/kword.desktop
/opt/kde2/share/applnk/Office/kword.desktop
should I delete this files? I still cannot run any koffce application,
since the same old error prints
