Hi Evan, hi list,

i was planning on doing the same, but now seems there are some out there who
allready did more than me. (yes, shame on me ;-)

as soon as you know what exists allready and what still needs to be created
i'd be happy to help. My Excelusage is even higher than my Wordusage and i'd
like to do some templates there.
I could also help with some german translations.

about the thread - well i got the tip to just omit the Font tag in the
templates as well, but i really think there should at least be a chance to
give a font-family, as in HTML where i can say i want sans-serif or serif. It
would be great if that could be put into Koffice at some time. Can't have a
birthday invitation template show up with sans-serif or a business letter
with some funky font someone uses on his desktop.

Also in a small step to get close to a wizard-like template without having
much coding support yet (well from what i heard yet we have but nobody knows
exactly what it is able to do ;-)
Kword for example does have user-defined fields and from the menu i can get a
dialogue to enter values for those - would be nice to just get the template
to open this dialogue automatically ... so it wouldn't look as nice as a
wizard, but still....
