Hi, My wife has a small PR-company and exchanges many documents with her customers. 99.99% of the documents she receives are in MS-Word format. We both share the opinion that all those 'smart' functions and wizards are only a nuissance and as soon as I can find a Linux word-editor that is able to read and write MS-Word, she wants to change to Linux. I therefore have the following questions: - are there any legal objections to writing a MS-Word export filter or is it just a too difficult task? - Which alternative would you suggest in this case? Should I use VMware and MS-Word in those cases were MS-wordformat is required or should I use another export-filter (which)? Thanks, Ben Engbers
