This is a great idea--it makes lines in the fileselector easier to hit with the mouse. Unfortunately the dark color is so dark that my black text doesn't show up very well against it. :( I've looked around KDE and have been unable to find a color setting for the alternating highlight lines in the file selector. I think it would be nice if the alternate-line highlighting were done very subtly, with only a slight variation of the normal window background color.
