From kmail-devel Mon Sep 03 14:20:51 2001 From: Malte Starostik Date: Mon, 03 Sep 2001 14:20:51 +0000 To: kmail-devel Subject: Two more problems with HEAD X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kmail-devel&m=99952703412004 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 1) Closing the config dialog with Okay screws the main window's docking layout. I normally have a layout pretty similar to what KMail looked with "Long folder list" before the docking patch. After closing the config dialog, it gets reset to a folder list that still takes all of the height, but is rediculously narrow (~80 pixels maybe). The message list has a similar small height as the folder list's width while the message preview takes almost the entire window :( 2) When composing a message while new mails arrive, KMail asks me for my PGP passphrase (auto-signing on) and wants to send the message. When I cancel the passphrase dialog and the encrypt/sign result window, KMail crashes. Only part of the message is recovered when restarting KMail. Sorry, no Backtrace, don't wanna type this all again :) And one last thing, not exactly a KMail bug and not new in HEAD: I use KWin's window-state-save feature for KMail so that it always opens in the right part of the screen, vertically maximized. Now, after a crash, when KMail opens with a composer, those attributes are set on the composer instead of the main window. Maybe there is some way to give the composer a name that is too different from the main window for KWin to think it's the window on which "Store Settings" was set. Alternatively - also much less confusing IMHO - the main window could be shown _before_ the composer in such cases.
