OS/Compiler notes: 

I have a large mailbox (86Mb) located on our email server at work. When I use
kmail to access it using IMAP it loads all
headers *each time* (3923 headers). This takes a very long time. This happens even if \
I just close the server folder and reopen it (with the +/- box).

Netscape 4.76 can handle this mailbox (with
an occasional glitch) and Outlook handles it
flawlessly.
