starting all the apps in Autostart takes time but the konsole is there
as one of the first apps. So I happily enter something in the konsole
when suddenly kmail finally appears and gets focus. Now the f meant for
konsole goes to kmail. 

This is what happened to me. OTOH I _love_ crashing apps - please add a
bomb icon like apple does and some nice sound effects ;-)

A better way to fix this is to not move the focus to another window if the
user just pressed a key. Only move the focus when there
was either no kbd input for some seconds or when the mouse moved.
Of course the number of seconds should be configurable with 0 as default.

To me such a bug means there is a problem in the source code which
might have nastier effects that are much more difficult to reproduce,
so I wouldn't close it. However I'm currently not able to try fixing it 
myself.
